    hi, anyone know how to enable close button, so the user can access the content without do the survey ?, I think old gateway have this feature.

    Yeah, there is, but unfortunately you can't change it by editing the gateway.

    You can only change the colours of them when you select 'Create new widget' and then on then after you have chosen what payment methods/surveys you want it has the general widget setup page.

    just change Menu Item Colours to your preferred colour.

    GO to the CPALead control panel / Dashboard and choose Widgets from the navigation bar. (Choose the widget you want to edit on the left).

    Then click the edit widget button, and you should see these options to mess around with the close button / tease time.

    EDIT: Whilst I'm here I might aswell bring up something about the traffic retainer. Is there any way you guys at CPALead can make it to that box asking you to complete doesn't complete a survey when it's already completed.

    Because at the moment, if you complete a survey you get the popup box saying "Premium Content Unlocked" - you click O.K, but the traffic retainer still pops up saying are you sure you want to leave this website (or something along those lines). Is there any way of fixing that?

    I try file download widget and yes you can close the gateway with that feature, but still I can't download the file.

    Oh, for the file download I don't know :S.

    There isn't a way for it yet I don't think, maybe that's something CPALead needs to look into.

    After some tinkering here is a way to get the adcode working only on particular posts/pages of your wordpress blog. Myself for instance, I run a video blog, so i only wanted the content gateway to appear on pages that contained video, and not my homepage, or various other news posts.

    Add the following in between the <head></head> tags in header.php of the wordpress theme you use:

if ( in_category( '[B]video[/B]' )) {
	echo ' [B]PASTE YOUR AD CODE HERE[/B]';
}  else {
	echo '';
}
?>
    Code (markup):
    1) video is the name of the category that I want the content gateway to appear on. You can also use the category id number.
    2) Please note that if you ad code has any ' (apostrophes) you will need to preface them with a backslash (\).
    eg: 
    <script language="javascript">if (!isloaded) {window.location = [B]\[/B]'http://url.com/adblock/[B]\[/B]';}</script>
    Code (markup):
    This has a different effect to the method described in the FAQ section of the website, as on post creation you do not need to add any variables to each post upon publishing. It will all be automatic. Hope this can help someone.

    An easier way would have just been to use the plugin, as it supports adding the widget to categories.

    Hi everyone!

    I'm not the first one to complain but over the past couple of weeks I've had some problems with the clicks to leads ratio. The amount of clicks on my sites have always been the same but lately the number of leads have plummeted. The new widgets hasn't helped either.

    The last couple of weeks a normal day looks like this:
    2009-10-09 941 (Clicks) 62 (Leads)

    The month before that, the same site looked like this:
    2009-09-09 1074 (Clicks) 163 (Leads)

    I know that these kind of stats can vary, and has, but it's been like this for way too long now...

    Am I doing something wrong? I have barely changed the content on my sites. I've tried disabling the high payout surveys and the ones that doesn't get any leads, even if they generate many clicks. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    The EPC network wide has gone up over the last month. This means our publishers are earning more per click now than they did last month. So this is not a network-wide problem as your post suggests. It may have something to do with the worth of your content, it could have been worth completing a survey more last month than this month. It could also be a change in where your traffic and clicks are coming from as conversion rates for offers vary from country to country. It could be a number of things, I'm just letting you know it's not a network-wide problem and it has nothing to do with the new Widget, as the new Widget uses the same code as the previous Gateway.

    Hey guys, i just signed up with cpalead but have some issues. I guess they dont like my site :D ..well i am working on several now! i just need to know what niche is accepted.
