I'm not sure why you would think a proxy service would do well with cpalead. Aren't your users the kind of people who want to remain anonymous, for various reasons? Then why would they fill out a survey asking for their name, telephone number etc??

Hey, asmodeus is right, your really going to struggle making good money with a proxy site.

I would suggest starting a Online TV site or something. Or even better create a site in advance for the new Download Gateway, and offer E-Books or something as the download.

Yup, proxies sites have to much competition if they see something they don't like on your site they can go to another site and get the same thing but without the gateway.

Good point, I never though to of that. A proxy site may work best with the Pay-By-Mobile service.

I believe that's an option for people to receive a Trial Offer, hence the clock.

Everytime i go into help over the past 3 days Jeremey is NEVER online. Anyway, ill ask the question here.

With the new gateway, will it be possible to also have our own subid's onto the offer? So for example, can i use the postback tool along with the gateway. So that aswell as having their IP unblocked for the gateway, i can credit the user in my system aswell.

The ASD wont work well with this as they would have to move away from the content, do some surveys, then go back. Kind of a pain.

    Hi there Wabec,

In our future release of our Currency Widget, you will be able to pass in your own unique subid to the gateway, and each gateway can have its own postback setting.

Hope that clarifies any questions you have. :)

I'm getting emails now from my Canadian visitors about the surveys, the problem is it forces a cell phone subscription. I understand that its good for us with the high payout but why only do these particular surveys show? (Highest EPC)

Is there a way to show Canadians 6 surveys also, so at least they have a choice?

    Thanks

No thats cool. Aslong as its part of the "Gateway" and not a seperate tool... If you can follow that :p

I'd like that option too. I'm from Canada as well and right now only 3 surveys show for me on my own sites, even though I have the survey number set at 6. It would be nice if you could just have 6 across the board for ALL countries.

When you have your surveys set at "6 surveys" from your publisher panel, that option pertains to USA surveys only. We have found that displaying more surveys for the other countries tends to hurt the EPCs as there isn't 6 outstanding surveys for every country.

For most countries there are only 2 or 3 outstanding surveys, and those are the ones you want to make sure your end-users click on. As you may know already, there is A LOT of thinking that goes into all of this :)

There's no more than 3 good surveys for Canada? There are many people who don't want to sign up for a cellphone subscription, but would still fill out a "regular" survey with an email submit to gain access to a free movie...several of my Canadian friends being among them. It's a shame I can't monetize those visitors...

Thanks, I have friends and a few family members that say the same thing, they refuse to input their cell numbers.

I think its a smart move to add more than 3 surveys for Canada, guarantee you're going to see more Canucks filling out surveys starting tomorrow :)

    Thanks, This is kinda big.
