I'm guessing there will be a SMS/Paypal option on the gateway if you have payments enabled. Then they will probably just pay via SMS or Paypal and the gateway will unlock.

Iam facing problems in getting approved . I was asked to reapply for more than 4 times for approval. After applying , i will get a message saying the initial story , what they have told.

It is very very annoying from cpalead. I dont know whether they have a follow up with the previous emails they sent?

Iam waiting for approval for more than 7 days... Very frustating experience

Loving the creativity from CPALead but I'm for one is going to have some problems using the new download app. Some of my material would be copyright restricted and if I were to offer them in exchange for actual money to a Paypal account I would get in a lot of trouble.

Sure, CPALead promotes legal ways to do this, and have encouraged it, but there is a difference between linking to an online tv-show/movie and asking people to fill out a survey to stream them, then to ask for actual money so the user can download the show from a server such as Rapidshare.

I'm not doing the TVshow-thing myself, I'm just saying that when you think about new ideas to use the new app, be aware that you are responsible for what you sell, not CPALead.

We obviously got a lot of talented people who know what they are doing on this board but it's always easy to get a little greedy.

 

Nah, Its all depend on where you from.
From the beginning you are not allowed you put any content that got copyright on your site without an permission, such as movies, episodes etc.
Embed video that hosted on third party like megaupload also not allowed.
However if you live in Nigeria for example, you don't really care what you promote or sell, since no-one can get you, or maybe can, but it doesn't worth the afford.

 

Hatherley - You are right. This is why I would like to recommend some ways to legitimately make money using the new File Download Gateway.

The first suggestion I have, is looking on eBay for content to buy that has resell rights. For instance, try these searches on eBay:

"ebook resell"
"turnkey resell"
"design resell"
"clip art resell"

This is just a few ideas. Now imaging repackaging this material and marketing it through other means than eBay. Such as driving traffic to a landing page with the content legitimately through YouTube, Facebook, Adsense, and so on. If you want to do this correctly, I would highly suggest reinvesting some of the money you've earned through your previous endeavors into a website designer and graphic designer.

Keep in mind, in many cases, you can make more money marketing and selling a single eBook, than you can by selling a collection of eBooks. It's all about how well you can market the product - this is what will set you apart from the rest. Some may make their money from selling a whole bulk collection of digital content, some may make it by selling one piece of the content at a time. There are plenty of strategies to try out and there is an endless amount of content out there.

 

What I don't understand with the new gateway accepting Paypal payments for instance, is what would be the difference of putting a buy now button from paypal on your page and sending them to your thank you page vs. the gateway with paypal?

 

The difference is that you give them an option to download your file for FREE by filling-up a survey OR pay it through Paypal if they don't want to fill-up a survey. Unlike with the landing page with Paypal button they have no other choice but buy the file/download.

 

Any thoughts on making this new gateway idea work with adult content in the future?? I could retire in a year putting this gateway on my network of adult sites!! lol

Those sites should really be reported and be banned, they are ruining the credibility of CPALead gateway and this can affect earnings of other CPALead affiliates that are working really hard to bring real good contents for their website visitors.

 

PayPal is a payment method, just like how our surveys are a payment method, mobile payments are a payment method, and trial & purchase offers are a payment method. If you would still like to offer the PayPal option on a different page, that's fine too, but I recommend keeping all payment methods in one spot.

As far as an adult Gateway, this is in the making as well.

I want to ask something to. What does this mean

How come the payout is 6.20 but i get 5.81?

 

When you got a lead on that survey, its payout at the time was $5.81, but since then, its payout was changed, now it pays $6.20 Payout column will always be the CURRENT payout, and payouts do change, so Payout row X Lead row will not always equal Total row.
