    The only problem with that is that the user can just click on the video and it redirects them to MegaVideo.Com where the video is hosted ):

    Use this

    allowNetworking="internal" between the "embed" tags and

    <param name="allowNetworking" value="internal">

    after the "object" tag, but before the embed tag

    So basically the Megavideo code will look like this.

    <object width="800" height="400"><param name="movie" value="http://www.megavideo.com/v/546643ac9deb0c0e3catrer4etr5644ff3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowNetworking" value="internal"><embed src="http://www.megavideo.com/v/546643ac9deb0c0e3catrer4etr5644ff3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowNetworking="internal" width="800" height="400"></embed></object>

    This will disable all clickthroughs. They will not be able to reach Megavideo through clicking the video. It's similar to what Myspace did to all Youtube videos.

    I haven't had any issues with people leaving my site to go to Megavideo at all. Thats why you set the time very short, so they see it, but dont get chance to click it ;)

    I usually time myself as if I was a visitor, to see how long it takes and then adjust accordingly. I've had no problems so far, and it fixes more problems than it would create anyway.

    It was stated somewhere in this thread that it's released sometime this month. I think.

    Did anyone notice that if you put a tease time on a page containing the episode or movie, visitors can simply disable java and the gateway won't pop up and they can continue watching the whole thing...is there a way to get around this???

    You can also simply add our noscript tag to your code to stop people from doing that.

    No..I mean if u put 1 minute as tease time, visitors can load the page and after loading, they can disable JAVA before the gateway appears ;) by doing that they will continue watching the movie and the gateway won't popup. And if they refresh the page, they will be given another period of tease time which gives them the same opportunity to disable java before the gateway appears..

    The <no script> tag won't help as it prevents visitors from loading the page without javascript but doesn't prevent them from disabling java after loading it. I tried it on firefox and it doesn't even require restarting the browser and was able to skip the gateway:(

    The tease time should be a onetime opportunity..it should work as follows, the visitor visits the page and is given 1 minute for example as tease time..when this finishes and the gateway pops..if they try to refresh the page, they shouldn't be given another tease time :rolleyes: it should pop immediately on each refresh after the first one
