This is the 3rd weekend that we got no leads, and all 3 times now I have not been credited any leads.

 

You don't see how leads go missing?? Have you ever worked for a company tracking leads?

If you have a perfect system for tracking leads please let us all know.

Also your target audience may not be the same as other people so as such your results will be different than other peoples results.

 

I understand how they go missing. But i dont understand how they can then be found.

Im pretty sure this is the exact same traffic as a month ago. On a slow decline. And then say 2 days ago, converting shit but ok, and then last night got absolutely nothing.

 

Seems to be happening a lot recently .. sad when stuff like this puts new people off and at one stage cpalead looked destined for great things!

 

They have their issues sure, but hell Microsoft is still trying to make Windows 98 bug free....

One problem I see with people is they rush to get their websites online without beta testing or bug testing and I have to believe CpaLead was one......

I also have a feeling their sales dept is out pacing their IT dept crappy new surveys pop up daily yet every weekend there is a problem with lead tracking.

Chill on new surveys for a while and fix the system guys!!

On a side note why do you kill off surveys that are working so quickly???

Why not leave what is working in place???

 

i guess they remove the surveys quick because the merchants pull the plug .. remember this traffic we send is pretty poor ass!

 

So when/if are we going to see the leads that were lost last night come through?

 

It's a little hard for me to explain how leads are missing and then they are found as I am not a programmer. From what I understand, it has to do with the lead tracking system we were using. It was timing out and skipping about 3/4 of the advertisers and then not resuming until it was reset and reinitialized.

As far as the possibility of a lost dream of CPALead, I can assure you, we are the most progressive CPA company on the Internet and we have more people in tech than we do in sales. Many CPA Networks outsource for tech, our team is in house and we will soon have a 100% proprietary system.

Please allow me to explain our situation. We had a tech team that we recently dismissed because they over promised and under delivered. Many of the scripts they designed for our network turned out to be heavy on server resources and spent much time trying to improve what they just created.

About a month ago, we hired an all new tech team that is higher educated, more experienced and a lot more punctual. The only hold up is, it takes time for them to understand the complete makeup of our system before they can really start programming new elements, this is why the Gateway has been on hold and change has been slow.

Our new president of CPALead, Martin King, previously served as an Executive Director at IBM, has a PhD in Cognitive Science (Computer Human Interaction) at Kaplan University, Justice Degree focusing on Intellectual Property Law at Concord Law School, advanced training in IT Applied Sciences at Harvard University and has a degree in Mathematical Philosophy (Cryptography) from MIT.

Martin King will be leading our new tech team in early January 2009 towards the new goals of our network and the redesign of the Gateway tool. Not to mention new and advanced alternative advertising methods to CPA, CPM, and CPC platforms.

Please understand this is big difference to where we were before and where we are going to be soon. Right now we are near the end of planning all elements of this new change and we are readying the design & implementation process. This is why I remain confident and I ask for your support through this short transition.

 

Sheds a bit more light on it. So can we expect our accounts to be updated shortly?

I've noticed that some sites (mine and others I've tested, like for example the gateway demo itself from CPALead; working there now) showed an empty gateway; meaning that no more surveys are available to answer for my IP. I'm not sure dough why this happens, since I'm most certain that I've not answered all available surveys (I've tested only once at some video site).. and I've tested this on several other locations (at 5 friends houses), 2 European private proxies and even at my university, and always the same: A gateway with no unlocking possibilities since there's no survey available to answer.

Now, what's not coherent for me is the fact the gateway is still showing even dough no survey is available; locking me for ever from the site. Let's assume I've did answer my survey quota and I cant of course answer any more, why then the gateway is still displaying?.

According to this:

I shouldn't then be able to see the gateway since I've "already answered" one.. or at least that's what's inferred from not being able to see any survey; even dough most of them are checked.

Could you clarify this for me since I'm very confused.
Also, users from my site were able to answer all surveys they wanted, but just not 2 times the same one. Does the system only allows one survey per user for ever? or just all the surveys they want, but only one time each?.

PS: None of my 5 friends had ever answered a CPALEad survey before, they never even accessed a website with the gateway before. Also, my test was with perfspot like 1 1/2 months ago.

 

I just woke up and I am like WTF only 0.38 dollars? I usually get like 7 - 9% conversation. Anyone else faced the same problem?

 

Yeah really really low conversions today. Which is sad because ive had the biggest traffic bump EVER.

Im still waiting on these lost leads to be "found" and credited back.

 

I give up hope about that lost leads....I think I lost minimum $100..simply waste my site traffic



I hope they will fix the lead tracking problem very soon.

It NEVER happened to me, even on the past weekend it was like 7.5$ - 8$/day. Today I see Health Tips has 4 leads with 5 clicks, it happened the same on Sunday too. I've no idea whats going on.

 

Well i got all my leads given back i think. Although the 200 clicks that went on the supervillian quiz never got converted so hmmm... But the rest i got. So i got about 30 dollars into my account which isnt too bad.

""I have completed the perfspot survey as requesed, but your pages are still blocked. How do I get past the block and view your programs?""

i get from one of my sites is getting annoying! That offer is obviously rubbish and should be removed!

click Surveys

Scroll down the left hand side, locate the offer, click the little rectangle with a green circle, to the left of Perfspot and turn it off....

There is no other surveys that convert even once in a million!!!

 

I think cpalead should reset their stats like once a month so visitors can see the gateway even after they complete the survery. my2cent
