Two questions:

1) A user only has to complete a survey once to access the whole site? Or, if I put a gateway on each page, they need to complete each survey to access each page?

2) I have yet to come across a site with a custom designed gateway. Anyone want to show me an example? Thanks!

 

If you really have to get this kind of legal advice off of DP...you may want to think twice about what kind of site you plan to create. It is incredibly naive to think you are 'fine' just because you don't host copyrighted videos on your own site.

You are much better off educating yourself on this matter first b/c depending on what you plan on promoting...you may be surprised by possible consequences and just how serious they can get.

Your system sounds great, however if I may can I suggest a feature? (That I haven't seen mentioned, it may well exist)
I'm thinking about developing a website, and your CPA method would work very well with it.
However I feel there's too much room for error when it comes to people cheating the system.
I was wondering if you've ever thought of introducing an API so people can create their own style gateway that suits their needs.

Is this on the cards, or something you would look into?

He is fine. Do your research.

If he gets a take down request, take it down. They are going to ask you to take it down before pursuing any legal actions. But that hasn't happened yet except once in the UK one tv links site was shut down, but the case was never pursued. It was just to scare the guy.

Many tv networks actually have commented that these tv sites benefits tv shows. It allows it to be watched by countries that would have never heard about it before. Viacom is one of these networks, I cant find a article about it, I will keep looking.

 

Well while it is a legal gray area, people can and do get arrested for it..

Saying it's fine is a bit naive, it's fine as long as you don't get big enough to be a target..

I have a new suggestion and I hope Cpalead will accept or look into it :

There are few publishers who are making few 1000's monthly and helping the company a lot ..
So why don't we offer earlier payments for them ?

Like publishers with :

2000~2999 : Net 25
3000~3999 : Net 20
4000~4999 : Net 15
5000 and above : Net 10

Or for example 3K and above net 15 ?

 

We made some last tweaks to our tracking formula yesterday, I think it's perfect now. Anyone else noticing higher conversions?

money-87 - Yes, we plan on offering earlier payments for publishers that have consistent earnings with us and also make above a certain amount of money. We are still working out the details.

 

My conversion rates for US is pretty much doing fine now.. From 3%/6% to 27%! Thanks Troy!

 

That's a huge increase 27% is a lot better than 3 or 6%. Glad to see our conversions are going up for everyone.

 

Conversions are really great and increase of earnings is very evident. Troy I'd love money-87's suggestion to happen

What were some of your highest converting offers the past few days?

 

Hi Troy, I see some top converting survey for US likes "What Was the Best of the 70's?" and "Do You Shop at Baby Gap?", but those surveys never show up on my gateway or on my Statistics report, and my traffic source from US and UK, why ?

 

So glad about recent conversion rate changes!

I had a 16% to 36% jump on one of my gateways!! Crazy! Hope it stays this way.

 

Looks like its time I started using CPALead again

 

My conversions were around 20% yesterday, but they are back down to around 15%. How are you guys achieving 25 30 and even 35% some of you? I tease the viewer by allowing them to watch about 10 seconds of the content. What have you guys experienced with teasing? Any help would be very gratefully taken. Thank You!
