No way lol..........

Many of the surveys receive a good amount of clicks and don't convert....why would I want to allow my traffic to click away and not make money???

Also while I think the program is good there are a few issues I see, which make me wonder what you guys are thinking at times....

Here is a prime example....

Not for nothing but the holiday is 6 months past and wont happen for another 6 months. Why would anyone run this once the holiday is past? I think it would make the publisher look stupid so I don't run it....

Next with a site devoted to teens, tweens, and early 20s these surveys do not fit the target market and therefore do not perform well,

My target market probably does not wash their own clothes...and are not at the age where prescriptions would be a concern....

They're not cooking their own meals either.

Quit smoking doesnt work with most audiences given more people do not smoke than do and also if they are not wanting to quit no offer whatsoever will make them want to quit.


I also think some of the surveys make no sense

They fit in the category of "If it sounds too good to be true.,...it probably is"

This turns people off to an offer as well and can turn the visitor off and lose them forever...


The ADHD Surveys are another...

Do you really think people with ADHD are going to fill out a survey to get well?????

Lastly if a survey gets a ton of clicks and no earnings I would think its best to turn it off as opposed to allowing it to cannabalize earnings that could be made by selecting offers that match ones target market....

Also if the gateway only displays the highest converting offers... then why does it dump the surveys that are converting bestl and replace with crap that does not???

Sem-Advance - your saying no way, and then wondering why your earnings are dropping, im making a killing with those same offers you said "won't work", i don't have any surveys disabled for "not converting", i never had any problems with the survey's listing... only for low payouts and only if they are not the majority of my income..

also, keep in mind that people don't fill the offer out because they want an ipod or a free plasma, they do it to access your website..

 

Of course there are exceptions to the rule I understand this, but the conversion numbers also validate my findings. I wouldn't have paused them without testing first...

Is your target market the same as mine?

Also our sites and their content might be very different and as such the impetus of my visitors to fill out the forms may be vastly different than that of your visitors.

Anybody notice that the conversion ratio goes down late at night.

For instance, here is a result from one day:

Alaska Vacation 1485 258 $0.13 17% $0.75 $193.50

After midnight (Central Time) the ratio drops quite a bit:

(2:30am)
Alaska Vacation 260 20 $0.06 7% $0.75 $15.00


A few nights ago i had over 200 clicks but only 6 leads on a survey that was converting 18% before midnight.

Other than this issue and not having any really good surveys right now, i love CPALead.

 

Hopefully another good survey will come Monday, cause it's pretty slim pickings right now. Yesterday was my worst day ever.

 

THis weekend has been my worst ever also, We need better surveys PLEASE,
I have a super low conversion rate this weekend, where I've had the same amount of traffiic and made 3 times as much other weekends

 

Hmm, whats up with the surveys? The conversation % doesn't seem to be updating at all and whenever that happens, my earnings go down even though I have 1 - 2 surveys enabled. The same thing happend last week and my earning went down.

I wonder cpalead is allowed together with adsense..

 

cpalead should make it easier to put the gateway on selected pages - having the code cover the entire site is just traffic suicide.

 

That's for you to do. Place the code on the pages you want the gateway to show.

 

Pretty excited about ~CPALead~ since I joined in early October. Havent gotten to know my AM yet but he is really cool and quick to respond on any issue that I've ever had, even tech stuff is no problem for him to have looked into. I joined for the gateway and made about 1 and a half hundred dollars from a lot of free hits from video traffic for a really general and 'anybody tries' niche. However, it would have been much much more if I knew how to tweak my campaigns then. Highly recommended to anyone floating this thread looking for info to join CPALead or not. I'm did more this month than last month, and that is awesome.

Troy, wondering what day the net 30 lands on? It's my first payment so I'm really excited, but I won't need it until a later in the month so it's not urgent, more like waiting for a surprise party that you know about but not when

Hey bud, if you go look at zipbux.org you'll see that the whole page has been encrypted after you click the BuyNow button. That means no javascript = nothing. You'd be surprised at how many people do the surveys though - most people really are fair, even on the internet. It seems like even the people who go the distance to get past a fully encrypted page still go back and do the surveys once they find out the delivery method is by confirmation only. Of course, that depends on what you've got going on. I don't know if someone covered this, probably did (as well as my question) but the thread is deep so I'll see what you guys say. Cheers!

 

Is anyone having any luck with anything? I can't get a EPC over 0.06, this is pretty bad. The surveys at the top aren't doing well, the Villain quiz converts well, but since it's paying so low the EPC is only 0.04. We need another great survey to save us.

 

At the moment get a plasma screen and the top most instant approvals now are all I was using and I just turned off the plasma screen one. Who did you/Who will you vote for did amazing around elections and I pumped that as the only survey I offered to my US users. I dont have much traffic right now, but the traffic I have is pretty broad and I'm considering it rabid for my content because I tailor to a really acute niche in entertainment right now. There are a lot of people looking for things that dont exist, thats all Im saying for now lol.

But yea, instant approvals now (the highest converting of the two) and the plasma screen one were doing ok the past few days, I've had low traffic and they dont seem to be the survey bunch this week, but I know those are converting *for me* and the others are either lower than I want to promote per click or dont seem to ever convert.

I like to turn on all of the surveys, start counting clicks, and anything that doesnt convert in 15 to 20 clicks I turn off and watch more. I know thats not much, but Im only looking for one lead out of those clicks to know I have a potential 5/100 or better. Anything that sticks, sticks, and I leave any newly added surveys turned on until I see how they do as well. Even lower paying ones, if it ends up being something that 10 out of 20 actually convert on that day, it all washes out and helps me to meet my goal for that day. Higher converting lower paying is the same to me as low converting higher paying, but I hope this helps anyone looking for a way to turn finding those good offers for any specific and given day of the month in a easy routine that isnt too confusing clicking on and off all those little radio buttons.

Cool design concept for sure, maybe a little too much though, makes no difference to me

 

EPC is a good number to look at, it measures exactly what you're saying when you're talking about smaller payouts vs. larger ones.
