RIght now i have a mixure of adsense ads and pca ads on my website. Is it better to have mostly adsense ads on my page or just cpa ads? I have pretty much half and half. You can see on my first blog. Its the red sig. spiderwebsource .com When i say cpa .. i'm talking about those ads when they click on it and fill out a e-mail or zip, i get paid.
The answer will be different for everyone. It really depends on everything: website, market, the way it is presented, the advertisers, etc. Only if you have a high volume, you can try different tests to see how well it pays. For example: 75% AdSense, 25% CPA. Then you switch. AdSense content will vary based on the page content, not the CPA. You need to judge by yourself what CPA will work and where. It is always better to use both, but I suggest that you try to place the CPA on landing pages and newsletter. You will be able to target people and maximize your ad space on your web pages for AdSense. Gurus often suggest to test and test because it is the only ways to validate our strategies.
Adsense is very sensitive for click fraud and CPA is difficult to get the right offers, all people already joined CPA.
Hi Cheece2001, What you are doing now(do both CPA and Adsense) is good. I will recommend you focus more on CPA and regard it as a primary earning for you because its payout is usually greater than Google Adsense. Drive more targeted traffic to your site and increase your CPA conversions. This will definitely increase your CPA earning. While your sites traffic increase, normally your Google Adsense clicks/earning will also increase. This will be the additional little "Bonus" for you. Is it right? (more traffic=more Adsense earning)
You should try both, If your covertion ratio is good. Adsense with CPA ads on any website with good traffic always convert into cash. So, try your best.
I am currently in the same boat and have adsense running on 1-2 content box banners, than cpa offers running on a 300x250 and 120x600 sidebar spot. So far Adsense has been beating out the CPA but I still have not been able to find the right offer to convert. It's definitely a lot more work to optimize and find a "golden" CPA offer but so many people claim it pays off in the end, so I guess keep testing.
