Hi! As you probably know by now, I work for CP Hosts.com Blog and such and I am just proud to announce that we have finally achieved Top 100,000 in Alexa's Rankings!!

We are now trying to get a good PR with Google and for some reason they haven't indexed us yet, but are using our Sitemap (XML) and they have assigned a LOW Pagerank for our web pages, which means we aren't banned yet.

Any thoughtful suggestions to help us with the Google Ranking?

Their are tools online that can get you under 100,000 without actually getting "under 100,000". If you're in the top 50,000, now that's a little different. :)

Meaning that the Alexa traffic rank is based on how many people have their toolbar installed. The more browsers that have their toolbar installed, the more inflated your site looks with users. You can fake this. It's not an accurate description of web traffic.

    Read your other thread, cphosts.

    1. Alexa is meaningless.

    2. The reason you're having trouble with Google is that you seemed to be banned.

If I'm banned from Google, why did the Googlebot visit my site yesterday?

See your other thread and answer the question I posed there. If you're not banned from Google, why is it you have no pages (zero pages) indexed and PR of zero despite having a number of backlinks for a site that has been online for several months now?

yeah, Alexa isn't that accurate. It's also quite easy to game. You could google it if you wanted some strategies to get higher Alexa rankings.

you can make the top 100,000 by refreshing your page over and over again with alexa toolbar installed.

    But well done ;)
