Thats because in vietnam they can get away with it. Thats the problem with poor and weak government, but in US, most likly you will get caught, and serve 20 to life in jail, not worth it for a insult.
This is not high school, where someone insults you and you fight them, this is a work environment. Trust me if I was still in high school, or in a bar or club and someone insults me, for sure I would do something.
I think you did the right thing. I'm assuming you are living in the US. In Canada, I learned this in law class, it is legal for you to tape your conversation as long as you are one of the two parties being taped or recorded. If this persists or no action is taken you could do that. I'm not sure if there is any difference in the US. Of course it is illegal to record two parties who are unaware that they are being recorded.
Im not in high school. Besides i said take care of them outside of the working environment, not in your office silly
i think this sums up everything. a work place is a professional enviroment, there certain things that don't just happen. i'm guessing there's a harassment policy in effect and this would be a breach of it.
Depends where you're at. In my company my boss doesn't care if there is harassment between colleagues. He just care about the result, " We have to clear out our personnal problems when it comes to business " he said. But the colleagues aint in my house, they are in the office.
We do have harassment policy, I doubt he will ever saying anything to me, he know if he says something again, he might get fired, he won't take that risk.
The work place is no place for crap like that. Don't feel bad about it for a minute. You have every right to do what you have to to protect yourself from abuse in the work place.
