how much responsibility does a website owner have in the case of "tutorial" sites and liability. Take for example, someone who owns a do-it-yourself home repair site, and teaches someone how to repair or build a patio.

Then, what if, on the advice of the website article, the user has an accident - patio falls and injurs him/her or something like that....

can the website owner be liable? If so, are there clauses that can be put at the end of each tutoial to prevent this?

I this case, you'd think something like - "these instructions are for informational purposes only. When preforming renovations of any kind, you should contact a professional."

anyone have any experience with something like this?

It is like the case of the coffee shop being sued (and losing) for thier coffee bur4ning someone. The company, as well as most others selling coffee now have on their cupst - "warning: coffee is hot"
