Im always seeing ads for ask.com, on tv at least... So I'm sure people use it.

I was thinking about this though and I've gotten about 1,000 hits this month from Yahoo/MSN and some backlinks I have. Almost all of that is targeted traffic. Even at $.05 per click and a $2 a day budget, I'd still be paying $60 a month for basically the same amount of FREE traffic I get now. So I guess I should just focus on getting more backlinks and wait for my SE rankings to improve. My site is less than a month old, so I guess I just need to be patient (I'm not good at that).

I have never seen an ask.com coupon. I used to advertise on ask.com but had terrible results and ended up wasting a lot of money for nothing. Be careful...

Interesting... thanks for the info! I was going to give it a shot but after looking through this thread I think I've changed my mind for the time being. :)

I am extremely scheptical about ask.com but i figure what the hell..

You know they have been running mass ads on prime time TV slots and those are the users that we want to market to in many regards. So for 50$ R&D i will give it a shot and see what happens.

Thanks csutoras for the coupon. It worked.

I don't know what you guys are talking about that you have to make a deposit first. This coupon worked for the initial deposit of $50. I did NOT have to deposit another $50, but maybe no one stepped up and tried it.

"web06" works fine for a $50 credit. Just what i was looking for.

    Thanks,

There were problems with the following fields:

    * Coupon Code has a minimum qualifying charge of $50.0

And when you enter $50 into the deposit field and then apply the code, it clearly shows that you will be getting $50 credit for the charge and $50 credit for the coupon, with an ending balance due of $50. So, if you got around this, maybe you can fill us in?
