I have a couple of questions that I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on in any of the FAQs or the forums. Do you only get weight for pages cached by google or all pages indexed by google and do you only get weight when someone goes to one of those indexed (or cached) pages on the exact URL indexed and the ads display (once I am guessing)? Also how long does it take your weight to recalculate when new pages get indexed and do you need to manually revalidate/calculate through the control panel or is the process automatic? Thanks for the help, Dan
Weight = indexed pages in Google via the API (not what you see when you search at google.com) * PR * Number of ads Re-validation happens on a regular cycle. I think it is every three days or so. If you have a Google API key, then you can re-validate everyday if you wish.
Thanks a bunch, #1: How do I check the indexed pages in Google via API? #2: I assume you mean revalidating through the coop control panel?
You can use the DP keyword tracker, which includes the ability to track pages indexed (with the API), backlinks and PR.
So the number that is there should be the exact number of pages indexed by google at the moment from my primary domain? It says like 318 while google itself says like 512.
It's the number of pages returned by the API tool - which is almost always less then what the site:domain command returns.
Thanks, you have been very helpful. My pages indexed continue to grow and so does my weight. Coop works great!
