Hi guys, I'm a moderately new web designer and also new to these forums. Before, I participated in a few contests in 99designs, where the users either provided either no or extremely vague feedback. These are 4 of the designs I submitted for 4 separate contests. I could REALLY use your suggestions, feedback and tips, to find out which direction I'm headed towards and what level I'm in (I can take all levels of criticism!) This was for a marketing and communications agency This was for an archiving software for Macs For a dating website For a GMAT exam preparation site Thanks in advance!
not bad looking sites, the only thing I would say is the dating website probably needs mroe pictures of people loved up so you can tell its a dating site on first look
Thanks avantemedia, yup I agree with you, but I was only following the wireframes provided by the client. If you check out the coded version of his selected design, you can see that he merely opted for a Flash animation.
I like the style of mac site, since it's clean and simple. for #1 and #4, I think the header menu shouldn't have too many options
I have from your site, and I look very nice ... it's just that there are some that must be added trending topics on your site
Love the Mac website, GMAT one is great to. The agency one is ok, dull and corporate though, not saying thats always a bad thing! I agree with avantemedia's comments about the dating one, I don't think that the colour scheme works well with the dating one either, I think a deep red would look better than the current copper sort of colour.
