in my hometown-- Philippines.. There is a severe politics-/religion war within the country.

they say because of the government not granting the muslims their freedom or whatever they are asking..

I just think the root of this is poverty..

filipinos not only filipino muslims are ranting for change..

also.. less fortunate citizens are thirsty for justice... the system here mostly favors the rich and the ones who can pay eventhough they are the ones who are guilty... corruption and discrimination (not the discrimination of race) is really rampant..

i love the philippines.. i feel secure when i am there.. its happy.. but I envy DENMARK when i heard how clean and how fair their system where...

    what are your thoughts?
    anyone from denmark here?

I'm not from Denmark but I've been there.
It is true that it is a very fair and law-respecting country. But i can't say anything about the Philippines because I'm not well informed but it seems it is in an unpleasant condition. If this persists it may break a war there or am I wrong? When it comes to religion freedom big problems arise if it is not granted !

All I can ascertain is the best way to circumvent violence will be through economic and political changes that result in a smaller centralized government, less taxation of individual persons, along with making foreign investment easier and better prepared to actually pump money in, while so doing providing education. That way, it enables the poor and forgotten to rise up, keep money they make, and essentially robs those who wish to start trouble from having any real cause - thereby lessening their threat. Should they turn to "terror" the government should not limit individual freedoms, but instead meet the challenge head on by imploring the people to rise up against the hooligans and make them stop - in whatever capacity is possible short of damaging the local ecology too much.
