Country specific tdl

    Did a quick search but couldn't find any satisfying answers.

    I'm thinking about either .com or .de. The site is for visitors worldwide, but has its main focus on Germany. Does it make a difference to the users and the rankings?

    id go with .com to get better exposure.

    You must always choose .com since that is the one that most people remember. But if you wish, you can register the other extension and then park it on top of the main domain. And that's what I do.
