I have a Swedisg site that also covers other countries in Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland). On the iste I have keywords from all Scandinavian languages but it seems that Google doesn't care about the other countries, just the Swedish stuff. I can see that if I do a search for one of my keywords it is mostly pages from all countries with my keywords, BUT if I add Denmark or Danmark to my search, mostly .dk sites show up in the search. Is this something new from Google? If you are looking for something in Spain, will only sites with an .es domain show up in the future? Not sure if anyone has seen this behaviour when searching?
they (google) have said that you should use TLD specific domain if it's country related material. If you want to go after Danish visitors, get a .dk domain name..... sometimes expensive, time consuming to develop many web sites, but true
