Country in adsense referrals ?

    What does a country selection in adsense referral setting means ?

    Showing referrals available in "US / any country"

    does this mean the ad will be visible to US traffic
    OR
    it means only referral from selected country counted.

    Any success story with adsense referrals ? :confused:

    The referral 2 ads usually are country specific but I do not know whether the same ad will be shown worldwide. Then that becomes less attractive to the international visitors. We have to check it with some one living on the other side of the continent. At least if the contents differ depending upon the continent, then it would be useful:)

    If your visitor from US, just choose US.
    because it will show english referrals

    But the site receives traffic from worldwide..
    so should i select an ad for each referral :confused:

    "Showing referrals available in "US / any country" means referrals available for US visitors or worldwide visitors. You can change the location if you are getting traffic from another country.

    I have pages with referral units targeted to a country. When I browse my computer from another country, these units are usually empty or sometimes they display english ads. I guess because there are some publishers that are allowing their ads to be shown in more countries.
