Countdown to the Page Rank update

I would just like to announce that the google have cancelled april's pagerank update, as they are to busy earning money.

 

Hehe, yea right, racking it in ........

really looking forward to the pr update, I started a website just before the last pr update so I missed out. I've been SEOing and backlinking since then so im hoping I can see some results!

 

True. I think we just have to ignore it. It'll happen. It's like planing a tree, you can't look at it every day.

I find PR updates come quicker when I dont about it, I just get on with the task at hand and before I know it my toolbar has changed.

People need to chill out and relax.

Depends on which update you are waiting for i.e. PageRank, backlinks, index etc.

sapindia, just so you know, technically updation isn't really a word.

As to your question though, no one knows when the next Google Backlink or PageRank update will occur. Anyone telling you that "it is coming soon because" doesn't actually know. Yes, there are things that happen that sometimes happen just before an update, but it often means other things too.

For instance, you will see many people on this forum stating that since we had a recent backlink update, there must be a PageRank update coming soon. This is a complete fiction and bears no relation to the truth in any way shape or form. Yes, we did have a Backlink update recently, and yes, we might get a PR update next, but there is no "must" in there at all. Often times there will be 3 or 4 backlink updates in a row before PageRank updates. You can view all of the previous update dates if you like, but any pattern you see is not indicative of when the next one will occur. Jadibones has a record of the dates here:

Backlinks update was already finished last month while PR update is expected on 1st-2nd week of April but until now I'm still waiting for PR update.

 

I think I should wait until the end of April or next month.

 

I think early May not in April at all.

 

I think you should start a thread when PR Really Updates no use of making thread before it actually occurs,
I think it should occur by Next Week
