Couldn't edit first post of own thread?

    Dear mods,
    I just got infraction for adding information on my thread.

    It said I should use the 'edit button',
    but where is that edit button? :confused:
    Next to that quote button?
    Nope...

    In fact I'd been looking everywhere :(

    Is it just me and one can't edit the first post of a thread he/she started?

    Note the times for first and second post in thread.

    First post: Yesterday, 1:05 pm
    Second post: Yesterday, 2:55 pm

    Times adjusted to my viewing time which is not necessarily yours.

    Members have an eight hour window in which they can edit a thread. After that window passes the edit button disappears. Your second post was made 1 hour and 50 minutes after first post. Note at this time the edit button is still active on your first post in this thread. Edit button is found in lower right hand side of post.
