Could We Get In Trouble Doing Cloned Website??

    We will develop, program and code our websites from the ground up..

    Do we get in trouble if we:

    1] Have similar themes / layout design

    2] Have same functionality but with more add-ons

    We see a bunch of cloned websites floating around without a problem, please share your opinions.

    Yes , you're likely to get into trouble when replicating/ copying the theme/ template/ articles of a site.

    Having said that, if it is a Warez site, you can do it. ROFLOL ! :p

    Just wanting to clone a community site, something similar to yelp or facebook.

    I've seem many facebook clones and other successful copycat lurking around involving no legal issues.

    As long as you do not actually take anything from them and your website are not ungodly similar.
