I have made a new blog site about a niche I am familiar with and I have a bunch of content for. Where do you go to submit blogsites for traffic? I have submitted the site to google but not sure where else you submit. Do I sumbit my posts links to article sites or do I submit the actual text? Do I even want to because then my content is not just one my site. Little confused and could use some pointers.
One of the great things about blogs is that we do not have to submit anything anywhere. Every time we publish a new post, notification is sent to Update Services. If you blog is on the WordPress platform, go to Settings, Writing, and you should see Update Services, which will contain: rpc.pingomatic.com Next go to www.pingomatic.com and you can see who they notify. you can use social bookmarking sites like digg, propeller, spurl.net, del.icio.us, and also you can submit your blog to blog directories like technorati...and many more sites.
I've used blogcatalog.com with great success. Also, what I've done was to submit the unique content to ezinearticles.com first and after having it accepted I've put the post on my blog. With this method I've gotten visitors from ezinearticles and whenever publishers used my posts on their blogs they linked back to my blog so I got even more traffic there. But the most important thing to keep in mind is to test everything. Test hubpages, test propeller... Test test test
