could use a hand on a win2k3 sbs server, gppolicy shut down my box

    Had this server humming along when a stupid thing hit me, "let me download this 30+mb security update from msoft." now the server no longer resolves on the net...I had unplugged it until I can get some help, please.
    did it shut down terminal services?! applying those new secure group policy defaults killed it.

    running win2k3 sbs server, 2003 Exchange, and 2003 MSSQL on same box

    What do you mean by resolves on the internet? Does the server have a host name associated with the IP address? Is the hostname now not resolving or do you mean that you can't access the server via the IP address?

    Terminal Services has nothing to do with name resolution only with connecting to the server remotely. Is the server on? Can you connect to it with a monitor and keyboard?
