    WHY IS AMERICA SO AWESOME???

But in all honesty. I may not agree with the crazy politics but everyone's got their corruptions and no ones perfect! On another hand Americans are the best for business. They buy my articles fast and on demand and always want more. They are a smart and lucrative group of people.

Before anyone says anything I'm from Canada.

But one day I hope America will embrace us and the west coast coalition ( Hawaii - California - BC - Alaska ) will be formed.

    Your thought's/comments?

It's pretty simple. In business American's generally trust doing business with Canadians, Brits, Australians and Japanese because their cultures are seen to be honest and honorable when it comes to business, and the laws are respectful to international business and it is possible to recover any damages should there be any problems.

Very few major business scams, and unethical financial behavior is publicized from these countries so we trust them more.

In comparison, we are less likely to trust business transactions from many African nations because of the number of identity theft and phishing scams that originate there and , India because of the number of financial fraud (click fraud and internet scams that we have all seen before ), or nations that have a general disgust for America as a country.

Countries seen as "Third world" also get the short end of the stick because we don't respect their abilities and think of them as cheap labor (if they were so smart, why are they still third world)

Americans as a rule a generally trusting, however, since the legalities of recovering any damages are difficult, many people just avoid doing business in certain countries.

For instance :If I get scammed form someone in Pakistan, who do I go to and how long will it take ? therefore, why risk it since I have no protection?

Also cultural differences play a large role for people who are not experienced in dealing internationally. A lot of times we just don't understand each other and can easily take offense to mannerisms and language that seem arrogant or uninformed. We don't have that problem with Canadians, Ausies and Brits because for the most part we speak the same language the same way.

Some of this is just perception and prejudice based on old news and I'm not saying it's fair, but the ease of legalities are the main reason that people do business, or don't do business with certain countries.

Great, I'll be honest Americans are good business partners.
They just have their stuff together and organized. I've also heard that Americans are very friendly and it's not un-usual to start conversations with random people on the street. This is quite different from Canada or at least BC where everyone is very uptight. :(

LOL. It depends on WHERE in America you are. Many people in America are friendly and helpful, but some are self absorbed and rude as well.

In America, If you trip and fall in public around a lot of people, 3 out of 5 will help you up and see if you are O.K....2 will still walk around you and keep going :p

I like the awesomeness of how fat those guys get. I mean, we have fat people over here, but those guys take it to a whole new level, they have some seriously fat people. 3% of them are morbidly obese, morbidly. That is twice your normal weight. It takes some serious dedication to stuff that much shit in to your face without vomiting for a start. AWESOME!

I guess that comes from having enough space to move around. I am sure there are no fat people in England, just fat heads.
Besides, you can't get fat because you'll never be able to fit into the cars.
However, it appears that maybe you aren't looking around at your own country men:

About 46% of men in England and 32% of women are overweight (a body mass index of 25-30 kg/m2), and an additional 17% of men and 21% of women are obese (a body mass index of more than 30 kg/m2 ).

Overweight and obesity increase with age. About 28% of men and 27% of women aged 16-24 are overweight or obese but 76% of men and 68% of women aged 55-64 are overweight or obese.

Overweight and obesity are increasing. The percentage of adults who are obese has roughly doubled since the mid-1980's.

    http://www.annecollins.com/obesity/uk-obesity-statistics.htm

Just goes to show, arrogance doesn't pay. England is actually 5x's fatter than the U.S.:D
    Ouch ! That must hurt.

Not only that, the population of the UK is only 60 million, compared to the U.S. at 350 million...what are you guys doing, eating each other ?

3% of 350 million is far less people than 17%-21% of 60 million. It seems that 1/3 of your population is fat.
    WOW!
Must be all the sausages and rashers, not to mention all the full bodied warm beer.

Great point! Free to eat what we want whenever we want lol

But since you bring it up I have an idea, you'll represent England and I'll represent the US, we'll each post a pic of ourselves and let others judge who is in the best shape! It'll be fun and you can see if your theory is right of how fat we are and the great shape you're in! ;)

Reminds me of a few weeks ago when I saw a guy carrying a few bags of groceries on his bike. He was hauling butt through an intersection when what looked like his handle bar clipped a parked car causing his tire to turn to the right hitting the tire. As a result he flew off the bike, ate crap, and groceries flew everywhere. He was down for a few minute or two rolling around on the black top.

I was across the street and noticed that not ONE person stopped to help or assist. A few people just walked by looking on! How in the hell can someone be like that?

I drove through the intersection and stopped my car in the middle of the street and helped him out. I even heard a few honks cause i was blocking traffic ( i just blew them off). It probably looked like I hit him with my car to someone who was just driving by as he was in front of my in the street. LOL

I threw his groceries in my car and followed him home. We are now friends and I also made some great networking contacts as well.

Point? - It only takes a few minutes to help someone out and the benefits can be very rewarding. I basically call it "helping thy neighbor".

BTW i'm in Southern California on the beach

That reminds ME, of that 78 year old guy up in Connecticut that got hit by the car that was on the wrong side of the road because the driver was in a hurry and trying to pass other cars, and people drove around him thinking he was a drunk laying in the street.
Even the people on the sidewalk that SAW what happened, just starred and remarked how horrible it was.

People in America can be cold and selfish, but some are just STUPID.

Here is the link to the guy by the way....I'll never forget that story.

our police force performed quite well, nabbed terrorists only a few months in all previous bombing acts. Some are already executed and many received lifetime sentence. I checked America & England were both in the top three. Now, we've got some damn good southern food to blame.. what's you guys' excuse?

America became what it is because of its freedom, and because of the population and the economic growth. They made most country's take huge debts for infrastructure projects that would be constructed by American company's. These huge lones only helps the rich in the country, while almost all the money comes back to the states form the American company's contracted to build these infrastructures. Those country's ended up with huge debts that are impossible to pay-off.

Thanks to this system an American Empire was made without anyone knowing. Which is the main reason why America is as huge as it is today.
