    Could someone help with a free and extremely basic shopping site php script? I need it to start exercising myself in developing a shopping site, So I would need just the basic, without design or anything else.

    It all depends on what you want. Here is a random Google search that will give you a tutorial on building your own;

    There are billing carts for al sorts but it all depends on what you want. Famous e-commerce software would be PHPCoin and OSCommerce. Other service billing software you can get includes ClientEXEC and WHMCS. It all depends on what your wanting to create. Just keep security in mind at all times! Don't rely on SSL and patched PHP holes for mass distributed e-commerce software.

    I use prestashop as well it is very buggy and support is hard to find but it is a good start it has alot of features.
