Could someone help me with mod_rewrite? Please

    Hi,
    I need some help. Could someone write/help me write this rewrite rule/rules.

    I have fallowing URL

    sitename.com/index.php?fid=(0-99)&id=some+text

    and I'd like to make something like this

    sitename.com/word, depending on "fid" number/some text w/o +'s

    Could anyone help?

    What software are you using? And why don't you just set up a redirect in CPanel?

    It's a custom php script. It's a classified board to be exact
    When saying "&id=some+text" i meant "&id=some+different+text+each+time"
    It would mean that I would have to set up hundreds of redirects
