Hi, My site 'http://www.uploadmagic.net' has been up for about a month now. However I'm getting very poor adsense on it. I might get between 1 / 5 clicks per day, but recently those clicks have been $0.01 or just not give me anything.. Could someone recommend any suggestions to making the site better? Thanks.
Site looks good, but it is a bit hard to read, maybe try larger fonts? Also, the three icons on your header for "login", "forgot password", and "registration", I would label those for quick recognition of what they are.
You cant make the amount you earn per click ($0.01 in your case) go up. Thats fixed by the niche you have. What you can do is try to increase the number of clicks. First impressions of your site are: where are the ads!? They are so few and far between that they are almost "invisible". I think you need to think about placement. Also, you need to get your traffic up to get more clicks. HTH
Yeah your site look great. But I can hardly notice the adsense ads, maybe thats why people don't click that much. My suggestion: 1 x 460x68 below the header banner on every page. 1 x 460x68 in the middle of the page. 1 x 250x250 or 300x250 on the the top of the right sidebar. Also add max to 3 link unit. Below or above the text area. Now you should be in business, you need more CTR, then increase the visibility. Don't just put an ad on the bottom of the page that nobody will notice.. I hope you understand what I mean.
Why so much content ? u never have to explain people about file uploading site. Just take idea from proxy site. Text box and adsense, that's all you need.
when ever you create new content , do some research on it and add good keywords . This will help adsense bots to display good ads .
Ok, I've made the buttons easier to read. Increased the size of the font. As for the adsense ads, I thought they were supposed to blend into the site? That's what I got the impression of when reading the forums anyways.. I have also changed where the ads are now. poseidon: The content is purely for SEO. So search engines will pick up more keywords in the site and hopefully reference it better. nicholas: Everything is a $1 at the moment to try and encourage growth for the site.. I do have a proxy site, but I get about 1 click every few days, if that.. I have looked at other sites and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong www.anonymous-free-web-proxy.com. Payout values for clicks vary from day to day, it's auction, some days are high, some days are low, from my experience, I average out around a 2-3% click though rate at about 20 cents per click...some people have more, some people have less, I am not sure how you expect Google to even give a rough estimate of what you will earn.
I didn't like the google ads colours really, change them to a better colour, they are not easily viewed, to an attracting colour and maybe the webpage colour also, it s too dark...
