Sorry if this is the wrong section to post but could someone explain to me what are the main issues that affect your site being shown if certain keywords are entered into google? (also seeking service). I'm new to promoting sites and everything is just a bit overwhelming, backlinks, anchors,niche, seo and so on. Which play the most part and decide what page your website will be displayed on google? I have an anime site and its very competitive ... Last question, how long does it take once you update these options? Thanks for any help on this matter!.

Other main factors:- ( Just in random order) Domain name Place where hosted On page optimisation ( keyword density, bolding of your keywords etc) For your anime niche site, look at the Google Keywords tool- https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Try and pick up keywords that are searched for, but do not have much competition at this moment.
