Hi i was just thinking Could i insert some form of advertising into an ebay listing to help cover the costs of it, or maybe even make a profit? like i could make up some crazy ebay listng which get thousands of hits, chuck on adbrite impression advertising, chuck on som $1.80 cpm popups, some adsense codes and im away?! thanks, chris
I don't think it will work because your not allowed to use javascript in eBay listings ( I think ) and most advertisers use Javascript in some shape or form.
I very much doubt it. If they see you do it they probably will in fact ban your ebay account. Your not even suppose to even link to your websites in ebay listings unless maybe it's the location where you have more information about your product that you want to sell or something.
It is against the Ebay terms of service. The only thing you'll get by attempting such a move is... BOOTED. No sense trying to save a few pennies and put your account in jeopardy. You CAN however, put a link to your "About Me" page, and use that to direct traffic to affiliate sites, your own site, etc. Pete
