the site focus on our university's students.
we are in a LAN, and all the students share the several IPs.
if i publish adsense on this site, and a lot of students click on the ads from these IPs,will google take it for cheat? does it against adsense TOS?

You can put AdSense on any website as long as it meets google's Quality Guidelines. As for possible Click Fraud, I'm sure Google has alogorithms to detect between shared IPs and Click Fraud

Some people have reported this problem - and they said that google does accept the reason. It's probably best to be proactive about it and tell google about this risk soon after you put the ads up.

maybe you are right. i have another site, and my classmates come and some click the ads,but i found that gg take those clicks as invalid clicks,so no money.

I agree. It's better to disclose this fact and not wait until google finds out themselves.

No way! Atleast the site you put ads must be crawlable by adsense bot. On intranet, how can media partners bot see your content or google check your site to see if it meets the standards. It is very much unlikely to get passed.

It is one thing to not have the clicks counted, another to get banned.

If LAN means Intranet - Alemcherry is right: google-adsense-bot can't crawl the site, so it won't get accepted.

As for your other site: tell google the source of those clicks so you won't get banned. Think beyond school: at some point you will likely be making websites for broader audiences and then you will still want to have your google adsense account. Don't risk a ban early on in your career.

He didn't say that the website is only available on LAN,
Well i do know of few sites with adsense on them and majority of traffic coming from a single one IP nerwork. All doing 'fine'.
So I believe google do have some Mechanism to Identify a Single IP Network.
