Could I get some Adsense Placement help?

    I have just put up my new layout at DealOverflow, http://www.dealoverflow.com/ and I need some input about where to put in my adsense. I'm also signed up with Chitika, but I'm not using the contextual ads.

    Where should I place my ads on the front page?
    Front Page

    Also, where should I put the ads on a article page?
    Full Page

    I could make some "mock articles" after every 3 article excerpts that are displayed on the front page that include Adsense, but I don't know if I should.

    Is bigger better for adsense? Would the wider skyscraper yield more earnings than the regular skyscraper?

    Google AdSesne Optimization Tips shows a nice "heat map" as to what has shown to be good placements.
