Could ASK be a possible adsense alternative

Looking at a thread in the 'other search engine category', I was wondering if Ask could become a good alternative to adsense. The thread starter who posted the information there is quite succesful from the short time he has used it. At the moment, I think its in Beta and on invitation basis.

I started this here because a lot of adsensers will be interested in this.

Is that program open to the public yet...

I am sorry for the dumb question, I just haven't followed that...

I think anything might pay better then adsense :)

Of course there would be lots of adsensers that would be interested in this! Especially those who are banned...

That's interesting, a new trend perhaps? Search engines and PPC advertising..

Looks like the guy was invited to join the progaram and he is having more success with it than adsense at least for one of his sites.

I think I should provide a link to his blog here so people can read up on it in more detail.

well Ask is not that popular, but a good publisher program can really get it some fame, i would try out if it has something better then adsense for sure, whnever its on.

Sure, if publishers have success with it, they would be droves of people keen on joining the program, which of course would also boost its search engine as it will increase exposure to the Ask brand.

They are somewhat estalbished though :) So they have an advantage over those who don't have a name at all.

I would definitely try it out on some sites where Adsense isn't performing as great as I expected.
