Need some feedback and ideas for my Costa Rica Forum please.

colours are not appealing.. try some other colours..

that top graphic should merge on with the background, or either make the header part white. rest it seems like default smf skin, you can try on changing that as well.

 

I would say have a look at the diff themes around the SMF website.

 

ok do you know of one that fits?

 

I feel the colours not atractive try some other colours.

the only thing you could do is jazz it up.
everyone says get a new skin and thats what you need.
the default theme of SMF is a little blah. if your having a forum
related to an exotic place, then an exotic skin is needed.

yes, unfortunately that's the problem with using forum software..you're stuck with either the default skin or a selection of user-created skins that may not suit your forum content.
Your forum needs bright colors...think sunny days, tropical paradise, beaches...
I suggest you Google to find a better skin or if you are brave, and know something about template systems, play with the colors yourself.

if you find a sweet theme, and your using mods, i have become quite good at editing smf files.

 

you need more subjects. you only have a few.

 

I will add them when ppl start talking.

 

Change the header area to white so the logo fits in better I think overall, it would look better with a green/white interface rather than blue

( I love the logo BTW )

 

Yeah the logo is good, but the forum needs a face lift? Maybe a make over is a better word. When it looks basic like this one "straight out of the box" I usually hit the back button and bounce!

 

The color is not active
And the catagory is not specific

 

I will add more cats as soon as activity calls for it
