Cost to make forum like this?

    Hello,

    Can you tell me estimated cost of this forum?

    I am thinking of making a forum just like this.

    I know it's using VB and a unique skin but may i know the cost of making skin like this?

    Also how much does it cost to host if i am getting 5000 new member in just 2, 3 months?

    That is the basics...minus the hosting...EarnersForum is on a dedicated machine, but you won't need this to start out with. I also want to add that EarnersForum held a huge contest when they first opened up. They gave away thousands of dollars, literally. The owner is Lee Dodd, and he has a lot of connections in the forum and webmaster industry...so all of these things combined led to their huge numbers right now. The average Joe will not be able to do what they did without more money and/or a very unique idea/marketing strategy. In other words, to pull off exactly what EarnersForum did, you're going to need an initial investment of well over $5,000 plus a recurring monthly payment of $100+ to pay for VPS or a dedicated server.

    However, Earnersforum had/has a pretty nice marketing strategy which would be another 10k$ (and more) ;)
