    What does it costs on average to deposit US$ Check in SBI bank(Najafgar Road, Delhi) or cash such an check through a Private agent?

    It will cost you around 300-400 rupees.
    It also depends on the check amount and of course on bank also.

    It may be around 400-500 rupees.
    It will at least 15-20 working days to cash it out.

    nothing in psu bank incuding SBI while 300-400Rs in pvt banks.
    I have a spare psu bank account to encash these cheques ;)

    It depends on the bank to bank i have deposited check in ICICI and they have charged me 250 INR , but it was an year ago you can ask bank for the charges.
