"Cost Per Day" Ad Networks?

Hey guys, I have completed moving into my new server this morning. This *should* mean faster load times and no random outages. If you notice your ad banners loading slowly or not at all, please let me know.

Tomorrow I am writing a script for publishers to track their daily performance on our new PPC ad network. I want to stress that CPD is still TextAdMarket's main advertising model, and the PPC ads are just to fill in the blank space for extra revenue. I've received quite a few emails about it this week.

guys, I'm switching web servers again. Sorry. This hosting company I signed up with this week is absolutely terrible. I've been dealing with them for over 7 days now, and the site still isn't 100% moved. Everyday I spend messing with them is another day I can't work on coding updates for TextAdMarket. So, I've had enough, and I'm moving to a higher quality hosting company. (ProVPS.com Sucks!)

Wow, you are good. It went down at 2:48 and you posted at 2:49! Thanks for letting me know, I was able to bring it back within about 10 mins.

 

CPD, most commonly referred to as sponsored ads, which are a fixed price, fixed term payment model.

Used by Adbrite, Adengage, AdToll to name a few. All three also use a hybrid earnings model.

 

Big Update for you guys:

- I lowered the minimum ad credit purchase to $10 (used to be $20). So, for $10, you can get your advertiser account started. I'm hoping this encourages more advertisers to sign up.

- I'm looking to partner with an external PPC company to provide our PPC ads. Publishers, this will ensure your ads are always filled, you are always earning revenue, and you get a better rate than what I can offer you right now.

- I have secured more funding for promotions to get this site rolling faster! I've been offering a coupon for an extra 10% ad credit on your purchases, and this is now being increased to 25%. So, a $100 purchase, will give you $125 worth of ad credit. More potential money for the publishers, better rates for the advertisers, and I get my business rolling. Coupon Code: "JHX-1594-PK45CV"

We are approaching 400 registered users since mid-May.

Yeah CPD is Sponsor Ads. I am not sure why they don't call it cpd (cost per day) but most of them have it in brackets. Also if publishers on textadmarket want advertisers they really shouldn't but a high price for a site that gets barely any traffic. I might try out the advertiser system when it is back online.
