Cost per 1000 impressions?

    Hi there,
    am interested to advertise my business at Dp. I have read that rates for 1000 impressions are from $1 to $xxx. How are count the impressions? One ip will be count 1 impressions (1000 unique = 1000 impressions) or 1 ip can make 1000 impressions?

    Displaying of the ad counts as an impression (the same user could see the same ad more than once on different page views).

    So there are no controls to prevent abuse? No IP tracking whatsoever?
    I am pretty sure you will answer - you have made a lot of posts, holy smokes!

    Would DP be interested in getting some technology to track impressions?

    Well I kind of got this from the question in this very thread and your response to it. I am sure the intent of the original question is to at least find out if one person could generate 1000 impressions, and if not.. what, if any are the controls.

    There is no point in my selling or buying ads unless I know what controls there are.

    If you are looking for something that will never displays an ad to a user more than once (regardless of time frame and subsequent page views), that is not the case.
