Cost of Shipping Products ?

    I am in a plan to sell some stuffs in DP.But before that I want to know the shipping rates to various parts of the world from India .The product is in the CD and their will be 6 to 7 CD's !

    So please help me to find !
    Is their any legal issue ?

    What you can do is to stack the 6 to 7 CDs in an envelope and weigh it and then go to the Post office and find out how much it cost to send that weight via airmail.

    To cut down on the cost, you may want to send using paper sleeves instead of the jewel box. It will be thinner and it is possible to send as a small parcel or letter rates instead of parcel.

    Well as long as what you are offering is legal and you have the full rights to distribute it (ie such as your own work or GPL contents) then it should be fine. You cannot however distribute items which you have no rights to and you do not have explicit permissions to distribute.

    You might also want to check with the local authorities because doing this might be considered exporting and you may require a license for it. I am not from India so you might want to check locally about this. Your Post Office should have the necessary information.
