Cost of No-competition Bid?

I have never used Adwords, but am looking into the possibility. In the cases I'm considering, I would be probably be the only bidder, since when I search for those terms now, there are no Adwords ads visible, even on the first page. These are low volume non-commercial search terms that no one is bidding on. I don't sell anything, but only want to use Adwords to get some additional visitors.

Does anyone know how much this would cost per click if I am the only bidder?

    Thank you

No-one can tell you. Cost-per-click is determined by quality score, which is dynamic and dependent on multiple factors. You will never know until you set up your campaign.

However, if you do everything well, and there really isn't any competition, you should expect to pay just pennies per click.

When you have no competitors it has a reason and it could be that many people try to advertise on those keywords but their QS is low / poor. It's obvious that when you have no competition you pay a lower CPC but it still has to do alot with your quality score.
