$149 although I'd highly recommend not buying it ... it's simply not worth it ... if you know what you're doing with SEO then you'll know to look out for the things it shows you ... and if you don't know about SEO then this isn't a magic bullet. Your choice though obviously
I actually find Market Samurai to be one of the most important tools out there. It can save a lot of time and really help manage all things keyword related.
I have used trial version. It's pretty good to manage your SEO work within shortest possible time. But It does not worth $147. These jobs can be done for free using free keyword research tools. I think it is not a good choice to buy.
I am not a Market Samurai affiliate but I do use their product and there is more to their service than just keyword research and SEO competition analysis. It has modules that help with domain name suggestions & registration; monetization; content; and promotion. I don't use MS for all of their services but it really helps to have all that stuff in one place. I have a number of websites and I couldn't manage them all without a tool like this.
Ofcourse it can be done by using free keyword research tool if you have lots of time to do it. Don't judge a tool by it's pricing. for $97 it's definitely worth it. don't forget time is money and Market Samurai can save a lot of time. It pulls data from Google own keywords tool..then you can sort it and find gold keyword which is long tail keywords...good amount of traffic..low competition. i am also not an affiliate of MS. i own this tool and i do all my projects by using this tool. it saves me numerous time which if i do manually can take whole day where MS takes only 20 minutes.
I downloaded the trial version and after a few days got an email offering the software for $97. Although I think that market samurai is a handy tool, after using the trial version I do not think that I will be purchasing, as one of the previous posters said, everything that market samurai does can be achieved for free with tools found on the net. Just my opinion!
I was always in the "I can do this myself, what do I need Market Samurai for?" camp. Until I began using it. Although this information can be dug up yourself, doing so does not keep it all in the neat bundle at your fingertips this software does. For the time-saving alone, I would recommend this software to anyone who needs to do keyword research (and all the other things it does) and can afford to buy it. A note about the cracked / warez versions going about - I've read on a number of forums that people who have used a warez version of this software have found themselves facing all sorts of virii / hijack problems so be warned and most of all, be smart!
Market Samurai was never designed to be just a keyword research tool, rather an all-in-one work-flow tool for all your seo needs. It basically means it is a labor saving tool, you don't need to keep switching between various tools for each part of your seo. If you just want a keyword tool then don't bother with it, as there are plenty of free ones available that do what you'd require....Google's free tool being the most obvious one. But for beginners and intermediate marketers looking for a general seo tool then I think MS is great and a good investment. The support they offer and their help videos are really excellent. Andy
Really, it does a great job and if you use it right it saves a lot of time. IMO, the screencasts/lessons alone (on noblesamurai) are worth the money alone. Anyone who gets the software and doesn't use the resources Brent and his team has come up with is REALLY missing out and shouldn't even review the product.. not until they understand what it does and how it does it. You can take snapshots of competitors on your primary SERP, export as a .csv, and benchmark/monitor who is doing what. The rank tracker is super fast (though it won't make pretty reports) it will at least alert you to changes FAST, and the KW research tool is good enough to form opinions (or use as indicators). The PR/anchor text back link scan is pretty helpful too.
I am using MS and its WELL worth every single penny! Its not ideally a stand alone tool but in conjunction with Wordtracker it's perfect. My tuppence!
