I live in India. Here band width is expensive. It costs nearly a US dollar/hr (phone bill + ISP bill + taxes) to have a dial up connection. I use cable net . This costs around 20 USD a month for 56 kbps connection - no data download limit. I was wondering whats the cost of bandwidth in other countries.
THat doesn't seem like that much. But I don't use dial up so I dont know. I have a dedicated bandwidth with my connection so it's about 40 bucks a month with a fast connection.
California SBC/Yahoo DSL (includes unlimited 56k dial-up access) $14.95 1.5 Mbps down $24.95 3 Mbps down $29.99 6 Mbps (cable)
I pay like ~$60 / mnth for 3.2mbps down and 768kpbs upstream ADSL , I stopped using dialup connection a long time a go..
Let's see: 512KB/s ADSL Capped at 3GB = $111 per month. Oh, and it is shaped! Dail-up: $42 a month with basic usage time
I pay $99.95 AUD of 1500/256 kbps unlimited plan until 10gb then they capped the speed back to 64kpbs. But they sometimes do not cap the speed. Drew.
Hi sachin, Why don't you switch to BSNL ADSL broadband ? I'm satisfied with its speed / price. 256kbps down / 128kbps up. 1 GB cap. Unlimited night download from 2AM - 8AM. $12 per month.
