Cost of an employee survey?

I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost for a company to conduct an employee survey on around 300 staff members?
Do companies need such a service?

They can do it easily themselves for free in about 5 minutes.

 

Make one up in Microsoft Word, print it and give it to all employees. You could make one up and send it to their emails as well, if that would work.
