do you know any marketing strategies that are effective in promoting your business yet inexpensive? I've been using postcard marketing in advertising opportunities, products and services and i find it effective and doesn't cost me that much.

Have you tried advertizing in specialized newsletters and magazines for your topic?

There is an online guide named "Standard Periodical Directory" that could be of enormous help here.

Its basically depends on your niche. If you have such kind of niche where you can easily promote through offline than this is good. For example Celebrity or sports or home.

But if you want to promote your own SEO service than offline will be not good option unless and until you have all data of those people who can use such service.

Advertisement on local paper, or magazines are effective.
These days, some local newspaper are offering opportunities to post ads for free if you book in advance and you are not selling expensive products or service. So if you are only advertising the name of your site and its function instead of the things sold on it, you are verly likely eligible for getting a free ads. Why not try this?
