Do any of you (as an affiliate) email customers after they purchase from your hoplink to say thank you? I started to think about whether or not it would reduce chargebacks...
I don't think it's necessary, an affiliate's job is basically to bring the buyers and sellers together. Most of the time, customers won't even know there's an affiliate involved and if you start sending "thank you" emails, it might just come across to them as weird.
No, don't that. Affiliate is a "middle person" between a customer and a publisher, and it's best if a customer doesn't know that they are purchasing something through affiliate link, otherwise they feel like someone is making money out of them. Affiliates must be invisible
