Correlation between SERPs and eCPM

    I saw a thread where a guy mentioned his eCPM dropped when his SERPs dropped. I am wondering if there have been any case studies on this or confirmation through a good set of data.

    SERP and eCPM have any relation ? need more testing for it if Google didn't publishes their algorithm

    perhaps when serps drop as the result of a minor penalty? i've seen the average epc drop at about the same time as the drops in serps.
