Correct way of article marketing for SEO?

I would like to know what is the correct way of article marketing for SEO.

1) write and submit a unique article to each individual article directory.
2) write and submit a same article to a list of article directories.

Which is the correct way. For e.g.1 , alot of $$ is need to buy unique content. Are both ways similar and reap results equally?

Definitely the first one. If you submit the same content over different article directories, Google will definitely consider them as duplicate articles, and a link back from a duplicate content definitely worth much lesser value than a link from unique and original content.

 

You can use the same content in all the article directories.......Use two links in the resource box. This is right strategy for SEO.

 

I tried both and could spot much difference in terms of backlinks. And I have not been detected by search engines submitting the same article over article directories. But:

As per observation, it is good to submit unique articles on each quality and authoritative article directories. While same article can be submitted to over different low quality and less credible article directories.

 

i tell you my personal experience, I submit one article in different top 20 best Article Directories and thereafter submit top 10 articles in best 30 social bookmarking sites & Social Networking Site like facebook and twitter.

 

yep thats the rite way to do it you will get 3 advantages
1] Backlinks
2] Increasing the chance of your article to get Page-Rank
3] Getting your website crawled

i think posting same article in the multiple article dirs. is ok when u have a quality content and posting in best article sites..

 

thank you all for the replies and advice. I had been doing article marketing (method 2) consistently for the past 1 week(submitting one article daily), but didn't see any results. How long does it takes for results to be seen? Am i going the right way?

 

I think 2 is the best option for article marketing.

 

submitting duplicate content to multiple sites is pointless. In fact, you could call it 'spam'. After all, you submitted it to one place, why do you want to submit it to another 500? The spiders will find it at ezinearticles, even if that's the only place you submit it.

 

I don't really consider marketing your article (even if the same one) to multiple syndication *spam*. What it does is allow multiple people to see your article and further syndicate it. This is the same reason marketing execs don't advertise on just one T.V. network. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Write an article, spin it if you like, and mass submit. It's tedious but the results are quite good.

same article can be submitted in different article directories. But first submit your article in important sites like ezine, goarticles

second option is fine - submit same article in atleast 20-30 article directories in the same day don't submit the same article after that, get a new article for next submissions and submit the articles on alternate day basis. You will get good results...
