Corporation Meetings

I'm debating in whether to set up an LLC or a (probably S) corporation. For those who went the corp route, how do you handle the shareholder or board meetings/minutes if you are the only shareholder/director? Are there templates which cover the necessities?

Does someone have any book suggestions or other reference sites I may want to look at?

I went the LLC route. All I can tell you is that either way, paying yourself is a pain in the butt. You cannot just "have" the money you bring in. It goes into the company coffers, and you pay yourself a wage. Unfortunately, since I freelance, I don't HAVE a reliable income. Trying to figure out a salary that I can pay out reliably is nearly impossible.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I wish I had just bought business insurance, and left it at that.
