Corporate blog for business.

If I am not mistaking it is relevant nowadays to have corporate blog. So we tried to keep in touch with this tendency and started some time ago to post info on our corporate blog.
(As I have mentioned earlier on this forum, I work for templatesflow.com website, and all our company is named ArtWeb)

So blog is located at http://artwebus.com/.

I would be more than glad to hear any comments and opinions on such things as: Should this blog exist at all? What do you think of its design and etc?

Personally I think the blog theme isn't very corporate at all. Have you had this custom made? Due to the lack of a link to any author in the footer I'll assume you have. If this is the case I think the designer has totally gone down the wrong route. Perhaps you should try something a little more professional?

this is custom made, and I think that there are some aspects that could be changes, and here (in this topic) I am trying to collest them.

 

Is the blog being authored by one person or by multiple people?

Which ever the case maybe, you might want to have the author name mentioned in the blog posts. It would help create a personal relationship with the blog readers.

 

The point is that design was made by one of our designers - Br@vE, and content is submitted by marketing dept.

And imho - I do not see such a great need to point on blog that it was creted by Brave, or by someone else, as it is made by and belongs to our company.

 

I am not talking about giving credit to the blog designer, I am talking about the individual blog posts. Have a look at SEOMoz blog, in each post author's name is displayed, which I feel helps establishes a personal connection with the readers!

To get some more additional visitors you may give some suggestions on how to edit your templates. That would be helpfull as all are going to monsters to find needed info.
