I'm thinking about running a co-registration campaign. I have a good handle on how it works but I keep thinking that there are some questions I haven't asked - any input in terms of best practice would be helpful!

    - choosing between cost per inquiry or cost per lead, which is best for a giveaway and which is best for an auto-registration?

    - duplicate data concerns and how to monitor the issue

    - determining the synergy with a product and the audience of a co-reg provider? Where to find (free) data on audience demographics?

    - cost per [qualified] lead is generally better for giveaways, simply because you're bound to get a large quantity of worthless entries

    - to prevent duplicate data, it's best to employ a data cleansing technology, such as DataFlux

    - The co-reg provider should themselves provide teh audience demographics to you for free
