I have to buy a new desktop. I have narrowed down 2 processors, can anyone tell me which one is better: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 2 MB L2 1.86 GHz 1066 MHz Or Intel Dual Core 2 MB L2 3 GHz 800 MHz Both of them costs same. C2D has higher FSB and has the latest and better architecture, while Dual Core has higher clock speed. I have heard C2Ds overclock really well. Please suggest, I am really confused. PS. Don't suggest E6400 or E6600 or E6700 or X6800, they are out of my budget.
core 2 duo is better, it has new tecnology and the FSB makes all the diference. the MHZ today dont really mean more performance (for different processor types)
Sumit i dont know about all these configurations, send me one as a gift and i will let you know more lol
Sumit bhai, send the machines here for testing, il will check them properly and send you my valuable feedback.. (don't expect the machines back though )
Congrats dude.. I had talked to one of my friends, after your called and he also told me that C2D is an awsome processor..
Someone said "Looks does matter" Besides, we saw the pics for his earlier machine as well. So we expect to see pics for this desktop as well
